Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in the Australian state of Victoria, is an actress and model. In Australia her name was made well-known for the character Pepper Steiger that she played on the soap-opera Neighbors in a total of 100 shows between 2006 and 2007. The actress arrived in Hollywood through two separate projects: first with the comedy choral Hollywood & Wine where she played an actress who was who was a newcomer to Hollywood. In the ninth series of Scrubs she played Maya who is a very beautiful medical student. However the series is suddenly put on hold. In the next episode, she is shooting for the Farrelly brother comedy Good to shoot featuring the Jason Sudeiki and Owen Wilson tandem. This will be followed by appearances on B-series and series. In 2013, she was given her first role that was more publicized: six episodes from the show detective Franklin and Bash and her first ever permanent part in Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. The show also has Chad Michael Murray's replacement in the two first seasons. The following year she followed up with supporting roles in two fantastic film features set in aircrafts One was a TV film for the SyFy channel Flight 7500 The One Way Back with a cast consisting of characters from TV shows as well as the action-movie Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage. She has the role of a Flight Attendant. It is Gabriel Luna who shares her poster for Matador, the upcoming show Matador.
