Despacito is a hit song from Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi along with Daddy Yankee was released in 2017. It became the number streaming music of that time within six month. The song was a mix of pop and reggaeton which not only brought attention to Latin Music, but as well reggaeton. Billboard's Top 100 had four songs mainly in Spanish by 2016 compared to just two songs in 2015. In 2017, during the peak of the popularity of Despacito the track was one of 19 that mainly Spanish were included in the Top 100. By 2020 the number will increase to 41 hits within this genre. Justin Bieber remixed Despacito 2017 in a bilingual version. Soon, other artists collaborated with reggaeton superstars like Drake as well as Bad Bunny with MIA (2018), Madonna and Maluma together with Medellin 2019 In the year 2020, some reggaeton musicians felt dissatisfied with the direction the genre was shifting towards the popular.
