Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress, writer, director and producer. Her father hails from Britain as does her mother, who is the "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's early memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mother's work. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements as a kid. Anna relocated to Toronto in November 1999 to further her acting career. After that, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009. They were married in a civil ceremony that December and renewed their vows in a Jewish celebration in Fredericton in April of 2011 in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism.
